Messenger Hub ("Messenger Hub", "we", "us") provides a health tracking app (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information, including data from your Oura account if you choose to connect it.

Information we collect

  • Account and profile details, such as your name, email address, and authentication provider information.
  • Health and activity information you add to the App and data you import from connected services like Oura ("Oura Data").
  • Device and usage data, including app interactions, IP address, browser type, and diagnostic logs.
  • Communications with us, such as support requests or feedback.

How we use information

  • Provide, personalize, and improve the App and its health insights.
  • Sync and display your connected data sources, including Oura Data.
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud, and debug issues.
  • Communicate with you about the App and respond to requests.
  • Send optional product updates or marketing messages only if you opt in, and honor your communication preferences in each message.
  • Comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms.

Oura integration

If you connect your Oura account, you expressly authorize Oura to share Oura Data with Messenger Hub through the Oura API. We only access the data scopes you approve and we respect your Oura privacy settings.

We use Oura Data solely to provide and improve the App. We do not sell Oura Data or use it for advertising. We do not share Oura Data with third parties except service providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

Our Privacy Policy does not replace or override Oura's privacy policy, which applies to Oura's collection and use of your data.

Sharing of information

  • With vendors that help us run the App (hosting, analytics, customer support), under agreements that limit their use of information.
  • With Oura as needed to authenticate your connection or support the integration.
  • With authorities or advisors if required by law, to protect rights, or to prevent fraud.
  • We do not sell personal information or share Oura Data with advertisers or data brokers.

Oura usage data

Oura may collect and use information related to your use of the Oura API and the Oura platform.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the App and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. If you disconnect your Oura account or request deletion, we stop processing and no longer store, process, or display Oura Data, and we delete it promptly.

Any cached Oura Data is removed within 60 days. If you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data unless we must retain it for legal reasons.

Your choices and rights

  • Access, correct, export, or delete your data by contacting us.
  • Revoke Oura access at any time in the App or through your Oura account settings.
  • Opt out of optional marketing communications using the unsubscribe link.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls.

Children's privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and adjust the effective date above.
